Induction type motor for smooth performance. Standard 3-jaw type, 1/2 chuck for positive grip of various drill press cutting tools. 5-speeds from 620 to 3,100 RPM. 3-spoke pilot wheel for operator ease, adjustable-position, locking depth stop for accurate depth measurement and repetitive drilling and a tilting table with slots for fast clamping of work. Cast iron table tilts up to 45-degrees for angled drilling and has a rack and pinion raising mechanism for easy adjustments. Slots in the table allow mounting vises, clamps, auxiliary tables and other accessories. Chuck accepts bits with up to 1/2" shanks allowing use of larger wood boring bits. 2-1/4" stroke length allows the drilling of deeper holes without having to re-position the work piece. On/Off switch is also removable to prevent unaughorized use. Flexible work lamp illuminates table and workpiece.
