Set bit height just once for male and female joints, no further fence or height adjustments are required. Rout stile and rail edges face down and rail ends face up for perfect fit. Also mill beveled edges on raised wainscot panels. Rout a rabbet groove along the back edge of surrounding wooden frame members, then assemble them around the routed panel.
