Double reinforced with industrial grit and glue for longer life and faster cuts. Friability allows wheel to break down and dissipate rather than melt down to increase sharpness for longer life and max grinding applications. Type 27, 24R grit aluminum oxide. 13,500 max rpm for 4" wheel; 12,000 for 4-1/2" wheel. 1/8" thick for fast cutoffs.
